AA Grade is the rarest tail we sell — rare enough that this page exists mostly to explain why it's empty.

What Makes a Tail "AA"

• 4"-5" Fibers throughout the entire tail

AA Grade carries the same top-shelf fiber quality as our A Grade, but with even greater length. When a tail comes through good enough to earn the AA designation, it's set aside in a dedicated holding bin reserved exclusively for tails of that caliber.

How the Drop Works

Because these tails are so hard to come-by, AA Grade accumulates slowly — often just once or twice a year. Here's exactly how it becomes available, so there's no confusion when the moment comes:

1. The bin fills. Every AA-worthy tail is set aside as it's identified, building toward a single release rather than trickling out one at a time. 
2. A release date and time is announced. Once the bin is full, we set a specific date and time and announce it — through email and social media — with real notice, not a surprise drop.
3. Everyone gets the same shot. At the announced time, the full AA inventory goes live at once. First come, first served.

What We Won't Do

• We do not take pre-orders for AA Grade.
• We do not hold or reserve tails for individual customers.
• We do not release AA Grade ahead of the announced time, for anyone.

This is the only way we know to keep it fair — everyone plays by the same rules, at the same time.

The tails are put into several grades. The fiber quality and fiber length are what determine the grades. What makes these tails so special is not the length, but the quality of fibers. Most bucktail is ruined in the dying process, but here we take extra measures to make sure that does not happen.
