Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping

Orders over $100 ship free, automatically, no code needed. Everything else, you pick your speed:

  • Flat Rate — $7.99 — our standard option, typically arrives in a few business days.
  • Express 2-Day — calculated at checkout based on package size and destination — for when you need hair in hand before the weekend, not after it.

Orders go out within 2 business days — most ship the very next day. Tying flies takes patience, shipping shouldn't.

International Shipping

Right now, I only ship internationally to Canada. 

Rates, duties, and taxes are calculated at checkout based on your destination and order weight, so you'll see the full cost before you pay — no guessing.

A few things worth knowing before ordering to Canada:

  • No delivery guarantee. Once a package clears customs, timelines and outcomes are largely out of anyone's hands — ours or the carrier's.
  • Customs fees, duties, and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility, collected at checkout. If my system happens to get the calculation wrong, I apologize in advance — if any additional fees are required, those are your responsibility.
  • Bucktail is an animal-derived material, so customs offices sometimes give it a closer look, which can mean extra processing time on their end.
  • If a package gets returned to us as undeliverable, I'll reach out so we can figure out the best way to proceed.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once your package leaves here and heads out with the carrier, what happens to it is genuinely out of my hands. If something goes missing, I'll help you file a claim with the carrier and do everything I can to track it down.

Meet Gabe Park

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Gabe has spent the last decade in the fly fishing industry chronically obsessed with fish big enough and dumb enough to eat something the size of the family cat. Before Figure Eats, he ran the entire bucktail program at Musky Fool Fly Fishing Company, which mostly meant getting paid to smell like deer hide and argue with dye pots for a living. Bucktail is his love language. Ask him about fiber density and hollow hair and watch an hour disappear. Just don't ask him about how to dye a bucktail jet black or he'll have to throw you in the Flambeau.

Muskies are his one true love, but sitting down at the vise with a high quality tail is where that dream begins. He's a Wisconsinite through and through, still casting long after everyone else has reached for a beer, and still convinced the next cast or the next bucktail is the one.
